Survivalist Family by Joe Fox

Unlike others, the focus of this book is on your team and your base; family and home, that is.  It's all about how to get your home-life (and the people in it) in order......in case of emergency.  This is a very well laid out book that covers all the bases.

More than a few folks entertain a thought and think what they would do in a similar circumstance.....but the reality is far different and may also prove outcomes that in no way resemble previous expectations.

In addition to the general state or conditions of a given emergency itself, there's nothing like the unexpected depression to contend with from having been without food for several days, the loss of adequate sleep.....and/or the loss of motor skills in extreme cold to throw a wrench into the "expected outcome" of what may prove to be the IN-experience of a lifetime....if you live through it.

It isn't about a few links, it's about the whole chain.  Often, in the world of survival and/or preparedness, only certain facets are covered.  This book sheds light on some of the glaring gaps.  In addition, if you've ever wondered how to bring your loved ones up to speed so you are all on the same page, this is the book for you.

Unless you're one who doesn't mind finding out too late that you've overlooked something.....important....this book is highly recommended and makes a great gift.  Give it to someone you care about.....or give it to someone you don't want to have to carry in a disaster.....sort of a "don't say I didn't help you out when the time comes....." kind of thing.
